Dr. Murray Simon

Dr. Murray Simon has research experience across a broad variety of health care issues, products and professional specialties and brings to his projects the unique combination of his years as a health care provider coupled with eighteen (plus) years of hands-on marketing research experience. Dr. Simon, based in Charlotte, NC, is considered to be one of the most experienced qualitative marketing research consultants in the health care industry. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina State Dental Association, the American Marketing Association, the Qualitative Research Consultants Association and an Affiliate of the Institute of Oral Biology. Since 1982, Dr. Simon has conducted focus groups and individual interviews with a wide range of health care professionals -- physicians, dentists, veterinarians, nurses, hygienists, pharmacists, health care administrators -- as well as with patients both in the US and abroad. He is an early pioneer in the use of telephone focus groups with health care professionals. His firsthand knowledge of the health professions provides valuable insights into the recruitment of professionals and the methods of questioning that are most productive. Dr. Simon's ability to speak and understand each respondent's technical language yields productive results in the areas of interpretation, analysis and report writing.. |
